Fixing & Modifying Trucks For Over 10 Years

Growing up with a passion for vehicles and machines, I began my business adventure by starting at Brooksby college studying land based engineering which led me to joining Watling JCB on an apprenticeship scheme where I studied at college for a further 3 years alongside working at Watling JCB multiple depots as a workshop and mobile mechanic. Throughout my time on the apprenticeship course, I also attended welding classes which is something I have always enjoyed. Then transferred my role as a mechanic to an attachments salesman which helped me build my skills in dealing with people and the paperwork side of the business. After 2 years of this role, I moved companies and joined Farol John Deere Dealership as an area sales manager. This enabled me to continue working with customers and understanding how businesses operate. My next step was joining True Plant Hire where I gained a lot of practical skills including HGV driving, machine operating and a variety of ground working skills. It had always been a dream of mine to own and run a successful business that includes everything I have learned so far and when the time was right I made the move and set up GSR Services Ltd.
