Jeeves - Meet the long nose series 2
The owner of this one of a kind long-nose Land Rover is constantly coming up with new ideas to improve this vehicle, and we love making them happen. This includes a custom stainless steel exhaust, a snorkel with interchangeable heads, a heavy duty winch bumper, and internal linkages for the diff lock and high/low selector. These ideas can be tailored to any project vehicle you own.

Jeeves Owner
I have had exceptional service and high quality work from GSR Services on my one of a kind pride and joy. Jeeves is a long nosed, mid engined roadster and far from a standard Defender, requiring skilled and confident hands. George and the team have carried out excellent servicing and fabrication, including a custom stainless steel exhaust, a raised air intake, and a front bumper modification to accommodate a 17.5 ton recovery winch ahead of a 2026 expedition in southern Africa. The quality of workmanship and welding is always outstanding. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right, and GSR always delivers.
The AA Series 3
This beautiful example of a refurbished ex service AA Series 3 came to us for a new set of brakes. While it was in, we carried out a full inspection and found play in three wheel bearings. After notifying the customer, he decided it was best to replace all four, maintaining the high standard of workmanship.

Recovery Truck Defender
After spending years working at a scrap yard, this custom Land Rover Defender tow truck was purchased by a private collector who wanted to recommission it to a roadworthy condition. We carried out wheel bearings, door locks, a brake master cylinder replacement, a rear axle rebuild, discs and pads all round, and a full service and MOT. The vehicle now sits in a local museum, The Great British Car Journey, for all to see.

Chassis Swap For Land Rover Defender 110
This Defender 110 Tomb Raider edition has come into the workshop for a full chassis replacement. The original chassis has rusted beyond repair, so the vehicle is currently being stripped down ready for a new Marsland galvanised chassis to be fitted.
While everything is apart we are taking the opportunity to refurbish the axles and suspension before the rebuild begins. A number of worn components will also be replaced with new parts to ensure the vehicle is solid and reliable once it is back on the road.
Once the rolling chassis has been rebuilt the body will be refitted. The external roll cage will then be removed and sent away for powder coating before the vehicle returns for body preparation and a full respray.
This work will give the Tomb Raider Defender a completely refreshed foundation while preserving the character of this special edition vehicle.

Custom Exhaust for Case Tractor
A local farmer came to GSR Services to have a new exhaust fabricated for one of his tractors. On arrival, there was very little left of the old system, as it was completely rotten. First, we removed the old exhaust and cleaned up the manifold ready for the new system to attach.
For this build, we chose 4 inch pipe to replicate the original system, this time using stainless steel to prevent the corrosion that affected the old mild steel exhaust. Once the system was fully welded together, we polished it to give a shiny finish, which the customer loved.
Custom exhausts like this can be tailored to any vehicle, from cars and 4x4s to tractors, trucks, and even tanks. If it has an engine, we can make a custom exhaust for it.

Farm Land Rover Defender
A local farm Land Rover TD5 was brought into GSR Services with a failed clutch master cylinder, leaving the vehicle off the road. On inspection, the fault was quickly identified and the clutch system repaired to restore proper operation.
While the vehicle was in the workshop, we also carried out a full service to ensure it was mechanically sound for continued farm use. To protect the chassis from corrosion, it was thoroughly wax-oiled, extending its lifespan and helping prevent future issues caused by harsh working conditions.
From diagnostics and repairs to servicing and long-term protection, GSR Services keeps working Land Rovers reliable and ready for daily use.

Brought our farm Land Rover TD5 to GSR Services with a failed clutch master cylinder. The problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed. We also had a full service carried out and the chassis wax-oiled. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a Land Rover. George and the team are extremely knowledgeable and capable.
